1001 Matches: THE CORRECTION

What would a DVDVR project be without mistakes.

When I originally pulled the matches from DVDVR #100 – I missed that Pierroth Jr. destroying Blue Demon Sr. was an angle not a match. (Being Blue Demon Sr. should have tipped me off.) So my original count was off. (I blame Pete for picking it originally)

So I am adding a match and labeling it #67 just so I don’t have to renumber the rest of the list. I am sure this won’t be the last time.

67) BIG GUY PAT/LL COOL VS. INTIMIDATOR/GINO BLANCHARD – May 17, 1997, Midlothian, VA

This works out because I originally wanted to include this in the “DVDVR Staples” part but couldn’t find the video. This is the worst match from the worst show that Dean had ever seen live. (Eventually I will find his original thoughts on this but that requires searching RSPW archives.) The video is shot by our beloved Tim Noel and you can hear Tim and Dave Layne on the recording.
